The driving light is waterproof and dustproof and can be used in temperatures from -30°C to +60°C without any problems.Super-Bright modeThe BLACK PENTA driving lights offers you two light modes. In super-bright mode (for off-road purposes only) it achieves an incredible range of up to 906m. Switch the BLACK PENTA to E mode and use it mounted in pairs in compliance with STVZO in addition to your high beam on the vehicle. Can be used without registration thanks to ECE R148 & ECE R149 approval. RangeThe BLACK PENTA headlamp not only impresses with its unique design, it also impresses with its first-class performance in terms of illumination and range. Over 300m at 1 lux in E mode ensure the best visibility.Impressive designThe modern and flat design of the BLACK PENTA driving lights fits perfectly with most vehicles. The parking light creates a special lighting effect. The special coating on the aluminum housing protects against salt and dirt.HomoglationThanks to ECE R149 approval, the BLACK PENTA (in E mode) can be used in road traffic and is registration-free. All the necessary test marks can be found on the lens. The certification also covers electromagnetic compatibility with the ECE R10 test mark, so that there is no interference with other consumers in your vehicle.ConnectionThe EURALIGHT wiring kit makes it incredibly easy to connect your new BLACK PENTA headlights. The connector end features two 4-pin DT plugs that match the headlight connectors. The two toggle switches allow you to control the high beams and parking lights. A 40A high-performance relay and a fuse holder with a 30A plug-in fuse are also included in the wiring harness. If your vehicle uses a CAN-bus-controlled electrical system, the high beams do not have a standard 12V signal. The included Euralight wiring harness completely handles the power supply for the LED unit and protects the vehicle’s electrical system via an integrated relay system. However, the wiring harness does not replace the vehicle’s signal processing. To ensure reliable and vehicle-safe control in modern CAN-bus systems, we recommend using a CAN-bus interface (not included) in combination with an intelligent power supply solution. For example, the use of an XBB dongle in conjunction with the XBB Power Unit has proven effective here.
